There is something rather special about being given a present with your own nameor monogram on it and at Eximious we pride ourselves in creating exceptionalmonogrammed luggage and accessories of the highest quality and craftmanship.

Rooted in heritage, the well-loved Eximious range, remains quintessentially British-made. It was established by Geoffrey and Val Cridland in 1978, Val’s innate style andeye for detail led to the creation of beautifully designed original products. Geoffreyand Val went on to work with Josephine Louis, who became the CEO and expanded the product offer extensively and had a huge passion for the brand. She then subsequently took the brand over to America and had great success and there is still a strong following today. Due to popular demand, Geoffrey reintroduced the monogrammed range as The English Room in 2013. Sara Stewart bought The English Room 2014 from Geoffrey and I then took over the reins in early 2026 with Sara continuing to be a Director. The English Room collection is now available under its original name, Eximious, andwill continue with the wonderful tradition and heritage that was started almost 50years ago.

Based in Britain, every product is individually embroidered to your requirements,making it truly unique.
